Gentrification in Harlem
How do you feel about the gentrification/changes occurring in Harlem?
"I feel it's a done deal. It's not an accident; it was planned. I knew about this since 1949. Solution: People of color have to unite and obtain land. The land gives them the right to build, create supply and demand for people of color. They don't own anything, don't produce anything. People with money...nobody knows what happens to it."

"The gentrification occurring in Harlem causes displacement in the community. It has broken the black vote."
