Gentrification in Harlem
How do you feel about the gentrification/changes occurring in Harlem?
"I do not like that some long-time Harlem residents are forced to move from Harlem but I see that the neighborhood is much safer. I am also tired of hearing that the people moving to the area are to be blamed because they only want to co-exist with the current residents."
Has any of the gentrification occurring in Harlem affected you directly or indirectly, and ifso, is it negative or positive?
"Some of the positives are that I have made friends with people that have moved to the neighborhood. I also enjoy the new restaurants and amenities we now have. I do not like that many of my friends had to move though."
