Gentrification in Harlem
How do you feel about the gentrification/changes occurring in Harlem?
"Gentrification happens because real estate is cyclical. The ones who are primarily complaining: what were you doing when all of these buildings were available? Black folk in general will spend their dollar on everything but what is essential like real estate."
Has any of the gentrification occurring in Harlem affected you directly or indirectly, and ifso, is it negative or positive?
"There are more choices to do banking, restaurants, cross cultural and/or demographic changes. On the negative, there are some white people who have moved into Harlem - If these whites had issues with black people, they should have moved elsewhere."
