Gentrification in Harlem
How do you feel about the gentrification/changes occurring in Harlem?
"I feel it is positive because of the new stores in Harlem. I feel Harlem has changed into a bed room community...they (new comers) do not shop in Harlem or patronize businesses...they sleep here."
Has any of the gentrification occurring in Harlem affected you directly or indirectly, and ifso, is it negative or positive?
"On one hand the changes has affected me positively: I have more choices to shop. On the other hand, they are not taking into consideration landmarked properties; the community is not being preserved."
