Gentrification in Harlem
How do you feel about the gentrification/changes occurring in Harlem?
"Harlem is a much more safer and nicer community but it took the number three train to now run 24 hours. Before it was low ridership that kept it under 24 hours. So better service improved after twenty years of waiting."
Has any of the gentrification occurring in Harlem affected you directly or indirectly, and ifso, is it negative or positive?
"The new housing that is being built cannot be afforded by blacks. When the change was coming, blacks thought it was going to be affordable. It is not. Therefore, many blacks are moving to Far Rockaway, Queens."
