Gentrification in Harlem
How do you feel about the gentrification/changes occurring in Harlem?
"I was born in 1961 in Harlem and the problem is our lack of understanding about our history...the past that we (blacks) fail to look at and study about pain and unspeakable evil done to us."
Has any of the gentrification occurring in Harlem affected you directly or indirectly, and ifso, is it negative or positive?
"I was evicted from an apartment that I was living.. I went to the store and came home and the locks were changed and the moving men were there."
